In case anyone remembers this thread...
I finally came out of hibernation with better spring weather and finished it up.
Replacing the rings and even grinding the valves and valve seats did not fully solve the compression issue...

I have now also replaced the number 3 and 4 cylinder liners...
I probably should have replaced number 2, also because when I compression-tested it afterwards, all other cylinders are within 0.5Bar of each other, but the number 2 is slightly lower, by another 0.25Bar...
So a total spread of 0.75Bar... ;-)

I think I can live with that...

I've just started running it in, though, with a total of 180Km out of 500 so far, so it's not completely checked out, yet. (It'll get an oil-change, new oil-filter, a thorough check of the oil for filings, and another compression test when ithits 500Km)

Now...
Yesterday when I was out driving, I may just have taken a speedbump slightly too fast... and now it's sitting lower on the lefthand side.
Yeah, I probably killed a torsion rod, because I can't really see anything wrong.

I should probably replace the old shocks back there at the same time as the rear axle assembly?
