Mirrorlink and Android Auto issues
#1
Hello there!
I have a 2016 Berlingo II B9 1.6 Blu HDi 100 Multispace Flair.
Over our years of ownership I have had various Android phones, none of which will mirror their screen onto the Berlingo as I was led to believe was possible.
In the early days, I took it into our Exeter dealer and a guy managed to mirror his Apple phone but wasn't clued up enough to get it working on my Android phone. My currrent phone is a Samsung A10.
Has anyone else been able to connect an Android phone and, if so, how please?
Cheers and a Happy New Year!
Brian, Exeter

Hi there, from all accounts that function has never worked with Android phones. I think the software in the head unit was quickly non compatible with versions of Android later than the one it was launched with. That part never seems to have been updated.

Thank you for the reply even if it wasn't what I had hoped for!
At least I can stop struggling now.
Not worth buying an Apple phone just for the compatibilty.

I moved from Apple to Android a couple of years ago and was disappointed that the Mirrolink didn't work when I got the XTR. However, I had kept the old Apple phone as a backup with a GiffGaff cheapo SIM and use that connected to Car Play if I need the mapping.

Hi all. Wondering if there might be a software update out there somewhere that now allows Android Auto use by USB with this touchscreen? I have an 18 reg Multispace.
I do use an iphone with this screen but my usual phone is an android and I am much more comfortable using this. It has both Android Auto and mirrorlink facilities. Idea
